LOCAL TIME The Maldives are at GMT+5, however, Beach House has its own time zone GMT+6 (1 hour ahead of the Capital, Male), for guests to enjoy an extra hour of daylight. IMMIGRATION All visitors to the Maldives must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity and a return air ticket. A complimentary 30 day tourist visa will be issued upon arrival. No alcohol may be brought into the country. Liquor found will be retained by customs authorities and can be collected upon departure at the airport. TRANSFERS A 55 minute domestic flight from Malé to Hanimaadhoo and a 45 minute cruise from Hanimaadhoo to Manafaru. Seaplane transfers are available upon request from Malé to the resort and return.
