OTM has become the largest international gathering of travel trade buyers and professionals in India. This year, 1000 exhibitors from 50 countries are participating at OTM to showcase their products. Cine Locale section at OTM will hold an interactive session with premier film and TV producers attended by 30+ top producers like Yashraj Films, Dharma Productions and Viacom. The fairground is expected to be visited by 15,000+ trade visitors and 800+ buyers from across all industry sectors.
Maldives will be showcased in a stand space of 60 Square meter designed to portray an attractive contemporary style showing images of beauty and uniqueness of the destination. During the first two days of the fair B2B meetings will be held along with presentations, while the last day of the fair is open for visitors. The outbound travel spend by Indians is forecast to grow to US$ 45 Billion by the year 2022.In the year 2017 12,647 tourist arrivals from India to Maldives were recorded while in 2018 (till November) the figure is 11,590 ,5.7% of the total market share.
