Bathala has been a legend among divers’ islands for more than 25 years. The small and pristine island has been completely renovated and modernised. The result is a very moderate 4 star island with a total of 46 beach bungalows and 24 water bungalows.
Due to Bathala’s location close to the outer reef, this magnificent house reef attracts big fishes and offers walls, overhangs and an intact coral reef. The best dive sites of the Maldives, amongst which are Fishhead, Mayaa Tila, Maaga Tila und Manta Point, can be found in close vicinity of the island.
