Life in a Bubble

Secluded in the lush foliage, the dome rests facing the endless sky and sea. The sky is black as coal, yet the billions of stars glisten as bright as day. Not unlike the eagle rays that glide through the Maldivian waters. Silence permeates the air, accompanied only by the waves gently cuddling and letting go of the shoreline. Stars shoot in and out of your vision in an orchestra of light and movement. Seemingly still but not quite. The cosmos above and the vast endless ocean below - you are right in the middle of it, tucked away in the safety of your dome with your loved one by your side.

Living in a bubble ain’t so bad after all, at least, not in the Maldives.

Bubble tents in the Maldives take glamping to a whole other level. Bubble tents in the Maldives come with king-sized beds, wingback chairs, and sometimes, even personal turntables and vintage records. You will have access to your standard (and outdoor) shower, with all the fluffy towels and robes you could ask for. The inside of the bubble tent is climate-controlled and fully waterproof. And yes, there’s almost always WiFi, but do you really need or even want it on this glorious night out? The night sky is far more interesting anyways.

You may have some concerns about privacy with sleeping in a see-through bubble tent. Even in resorts where the bubble tent is located on the island itself, there’s no chance of other visitors or staff stumbling into the area and disrupting your special night. The tents are isolated, each within its own small compound that cannot be entered without permission, serene and perfect. There’s no chance of any invasion of your privacy in a bubble tent in the Maldives.
