10th TTM Opens with Global Travel Trade Converging in Maldives

The Maldives is strengthening engagement with the global travel trade as the 10th edition of Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2026 begins today at Barceló Nasandhura Malé, bringing together tourism businesses and international travel professionals for two days of business meetings, networking and industry engagement.
Marking a decade of TTM, this year’s edition brings together more than 130 resorts and hotels and over 250 travel operators and agents representing the Maldives’ top 30 source markets. The event provides a platform for tourism businesses to build professional networks, negotiate partnerships and exchange insights on emerging trends shaping the Maldivian tourism industry.
As the Destination Partner under the Gold Sponsorship of TTM 2026, Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC), is participating as an exhibitor at the two-day B2B networking event. Visit Maldives will engage with international tour operators, travel agents, DMCs, airlines, travel media and other industry stakeholders through its dedicated exhibition lounge.
The participation forms part of Visit Maldives’ broader efforts to strengthen the Maldives’ global tourism presence through international marketing, strategic partnerships and sustained engagement with the travel trade across key and emerging markets.
Through its presence at TTM 2026, Visit Maldives will engage with key industry partners to strengthen existing relationships, develop new business connections and further position the Maldives across international markets.
Visit Maldives will have a prominent presence throughout TTM 2026, with destination branding featured across the event venue, TTM Connect’s digital interface, the event photo backdrop and relevant digital and social media platforms.
The two-day programme will conclude with the TTM Awards & Gala 2026 on the evening of 27 August at CROSSROADS Maldives. As the grand finale of TTM Maldives 2026, the gala will celebrate excellence and outstanding achievements across the Maldivian tourism industry, with the winners of this year’s awards announced during the event.
The 10th edition of TTM 2026 reinforces the event’s role as an important platform for connecting the Maldives with international travel markets, strengthening tourism partnerships and supporting continued growth and long-term value for the Maldivian tourism industry.
