CONRAD MALDIVES RANGALI ISLAND IS SEWING FACE MASKS TO DONATE TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND HEALTHCARE WORKERS
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has inspired its team members to get involved in a face mask sewing initiative which was launched in May 2020. Resident tailors and volunteering team members are aiming to complete 1,500 masks. Located in South Ari Atoll, the resort plans to distribute them to local residents among local islands as well as Malé, the capital city of Maldives.
“During this challenging time, we are looking at unique ways to help communities in our neighboring islands. We know there is a need for masks right now and hoping that our efforts will be a positive contribution to those who need these extra layers of protection,” said Alex Traeger, Director of Operations. “We stand by Hilton’s vision of filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, and so we start by making a difference in the local communities around us,” he added.
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island expresses an accord of form, function and innovation in driving hospitality trends that has set the benchmark in its style.
