The festivities begin on Thursday 18 December with the island’s Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, where guests gather for an intimate evening of festive bites and live music, to mark the start of the season. The following afternoon, young guests are invited to embrace their creativity and imagination in a gingerbread house decorating workshop, a heartwarming experience to share and remember.

Throughout the festive season, guests can embrace a rhythm of relaxation and renewal with sunrise power yoga, Pilates by the water’s edge, and embrace friendly competition with sunset tennis socials on the island courts. Holiday tennis tournaments offer a playful edge for sports enthusiasts, while marine explorers can immerse themselves in guided experiences such as the Ocean Wonders Christmas morning snorkelling adventure, a Dolphin Quest cruise, or even a private nurse shark encounter, all of which foster a deeper connection to the island’s surrounding marine world.

A series of exceptional dining experiences complements the celebrations, from a refined Oyster & Caviar Dinner to a Maldivian Sharing Beach Dinner celebrating local culinary heritage, or a private Festive High Tea shared with loved ones.

Guests can welcome 2026 with a Beachside Brunch on New Year’s Day, followed by a week of flavour-led experiences including the Chef’s Table at Kayto, where Nikkei flavours meet artistic flair, and Taste of India at Glow, a fragrant tribute to India’s diverse regional dishes.
