‘Polski Linie Lotnicze LOT’ airlines launched direct flights from Warsaw to Velana International Airport on 19th February 2021. The airlines will conduct weekly flights between Warsaw and Maldives starting March 2021. The Maldives has welcomed 1,122 travelers and 1,043 travelers from Poland in January 2021 and February 2021, respectively. As of 17th February 2021, 28 airlines directly fly to the Maldives and 147,744 tourists have arrived. 

LOT Polish Airlines, legally incorporated as Polski Linie Lotnicze LOT S.A, is the flag carrier of Poland. Based in Warsaw and established on 29 December 1928, LOT Polish Airlines is one of the world’s oldest airlines in operation.
