Love is all around at these resorts in the Maldives
To
mark the occasion of Valentine’s Day, these four resorts from Marriott Bonvoy’s
portfolio in the Maldives activated various initiatives across their respective
islands to spread and celebrate the day of love with their guests.
The Valentine's Day celebration started from
the very first hour at the JW Marriott
Maldives Resort & Spa. The team welcomed all couples with roses for breakfast and
special Valentine's Day treats. Couples could enjoy a massage for a relaxing
afternoon at Spa by JW and end the day with a romantic dinner featuring a
unique set-up. Guests were invited to experience a romantic culinary adventure
with a six-course menu and an unforgettable night on the beach in togetherness.
The Little Griffins, children, also celebrated with love messages drawn on the
beach, and handmade art to celebrate this special day.
W Maldives celebrated
Valentine’s Day in style. Guests who booked their IT’S A DATE! package,
received a 60-min massage for two at AWAY®️ Spa, a three-course private dinner
for two at W Coral Terrace, one romantic bubble bath set up and a bottle of
Champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling juice. Lovers also indulges in a
gastronomical journey offering four ways to dine, DINE AROUND THE ISLAND – a
quirky journey of love around the island which started from a bonfire at FIRE,
bites at SIP, main course at FISH and ended up in the room for a sweet surprise;
XOXO offered a romantic dinner by the beach or at the W Coral Terrace; CRUISIN’
IN LOVE, an extravagant escapade on ESCAPE cruise; and CASTAWAY VALENTINE
BLISS, a combination of relaxation and romance at the castaway island of
Gaathafushi.
Sheraton Maldives
Full Moon Resort & Spa started Valentine’s Day morning with a curated floating breakfast
experience in paradise with a choice of American, Continental or Maldivian
breakfast, a bottle of premium champagne and a rose. At dusk, their magical
restaurant Sea Salt offered a 7-course special dinner menu with a bottle of
bubbly and a rose for the couples under the stars, in a setting specially decorated
and dedicated for lovers on the island.
Valentine’s
morning at The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort started with a floating breakfast by the pool
in each villa. The couples were then proposed to disconnect at the Heavenly Spa
by Westin, followed by a cruise through the waters of the Indian Ocean with
sunset views. By night, a romantic dinner awaited depending on their
preferences. From a delicious beachside dinner based on stimulating ingredients,
seven course Japanese dinner with wine pairing by a somelier at the signature
restaurant, The Pearl, to an exclusive dinner under the stars with top-notch
service and champagne – couples could take their pick to celebrate this special
day and create unforgettable memories.
