This recognition marks the country’s seventh consecutive nomination, following six prior wins that have firmly established its reputation for excellence within the region.

Users may register with a valid email address, with corporate emails recommended for verified travel professionals who receive double votes upon submission. After verifying their account via email, voters can log in and select the Maldives under the “Indian Ocean” category, where it is nominated across key segments including Leading Destination, Beach, Dive, Green, Honeymoon Destination, and Tourist Board 2026, as well as individual resorts listed under the Maldives section. Voting closes on 7 August 2026, with the awards ceremony scheduled to take place on 27 September 2026 in the Maldives on World Tourism Day.
