Milaidhoo Maldives has been included in the Tatler Travel Guide 2026, which recognises some of the world’s most highly regarded hotels. The island is listed among Tatler 101: The World’s Best Hotels, an annual selection that highlights properties noted for quality and service in global hospitality.
The Tatler Travel Guide is compiled by the magazine’s Travel Editor in collaboration with an editorial team and an international network of contributors. Properties are evaluated through a detailed selection process, with inclusion reserved for hotels that offer consistently notable guest experiences.
Tatler, one of the world’s longstanding society publications, is widely recognised for its influence in the travel sector. Its recommendations are directed at a readership seeking hotels that combine character, service, and authenticity.
Milaidhoo Maldives is a boutique resort located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll. It is known for its small-scale, intimate setting and emphasis on connecting guests with Maldivian culture and the surrounding natural environment. The resort offers a range of experiences, including cultural activities, marine-based excursions, and dining at its overwater restaurant Ba’theli, which draws inspiration from traditional Maldivian sailing vessels.
Paul van Frank, General Manager of Milaidhoo, noted that inclusion in the guide represents recognition of the team’s efforts to deliver personalised and considered guest experiences.
The listing in the Tatler Travel Guide 2026 reinforces Milaidhoo’s position among the Indian Ocean’s notable luxury resorts, highlighting its focus on authenticity, service, and a connection to the local environment.
