This collaboration aims to amplify the Maldives’ appeal as a top tourist destination. The agreement was signed by MMPRC’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr Ibrahim Shiuree, and NHGAM’s Vice President, Ahmed Waheed at a ceremony held this afternoon at MMPRC Headquarters.
“We are excited to strengthen our collaboration with NHGAM to tap into emerging markets.” said Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO & MD of MMPRC. “By working closely with industry partners such as NHGAM, we aim to further enhance our offerings and attract more travellers to the Maldives.”
Under this strategic MOU, NHGAM will play a crucial role in supporting marketing efforts and participant recruitment, maximising their engagement throughout fairs and events including Asian Tourism Fair (ATF) 2024. It provides invaluable opportunities for networking, partnership building, and cultural exchange. This year's ATF coincides with World Tourism Day, adding even more excitement and prestige to the event. Beyond the core tourism trade exhibition, B2B sessions, and B2C opportunities, ATF 2024 boasts a range of exciting side events.
MMPRC continuously elevates the Maldives as the most preferred tourism destination in major markets. By forging strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders like NHGAM, MMPRC aims to tap into promising markets and explore new segments and increase arrival numbers. This collaboration is anticipated to significantly boost tourist arrivals and contribute to the growth of the Maldives' tourism industry, reinforcing our position as the World’s Leading Destination.
