This festive season, Sirru Fen Fushi - Private Lagoon Resort, nestled in Shaviyani Atoll of the Maldives, is transforming into a stage for award-winning talent spanning All-Star Band, Michelin-starred gastronomy, Football World Cup Champion, holistic wellness, celestial experience and many more. Inspired by the theme ‘Symphony of the Island’, guest Sirru Icons will range from globally renowned rock legends and a real-life astronaut to culinary showcases and exclusive collaboration with World’s and Asia’s 50 Best Bars. This complements an extravagant schedule of Christmas, New Year and Orthodox Christmas celebrations running between 22nd December to 7th January.

New Year’s Eve celebrations at Sirru Fen Fushi will feature electrifying performances from headliner, Rami Jaffee, Grammy-winning rock keyboardist of the Foo Fighters, along with renowned American violinist, cellist and vocalist, Jessy Greene (Formerly Foo Fighters and Pink), and veteran rock drummer and producer Erik Aldenius of Billy Idol. The All-Star Band will also feature Todd Morse, multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter of Offspring, and Bill Reynolds, Grammy-nominated bassist and producer, formerly Band of Horses, culminating in an unforgettable soundtrack to ring in 2026.

Award-winning mixologists will come together for mixology scenes at Onu Onu Beach Bar. On 30th December, we will welcome Harrison Kenny, Celebrity Mixologist associated with World’s 50 Best Bars, and Millie Tang, one of Australia’s most celebrated bartenders, followed by Pham 

Quoc Dat on 3rd January, Head Mixologist at The Haflington, Vietnam (featured in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024).

Commencing 8th and 10th December, Sirru Fen Fushi will welcome Chef Valentino Cassanelli to deliver a four-hands dinner in partnership with the resort's Executive Chef Girish Sharma, as well as his own Signature Experience, featuring an exclusive four-course dinner. One of Italy’s most exciting culinary talents, Chef Valentino is Head Chef of the Michelin-starred Lux Lucis. 

On 3rd January, Jean-Philippe Blondet, Chef Patron of the esteemed three-Michelin-starred restaurant, Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester will present an exquisite dining experience at Azure with extraordinary four-hands dining experience with Chef Girish.

Nurturing both mind and body, the island welcomes sports and wellness specialists including Football World Cup Champion, TV Football Expert & Book Author, Christoph Kramer, and Former Professional Tennis Player and a Tennis Coach, Alexandra Viktorovitch, along with Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist and personal trainer Josiah Ngai, and yoga instructor and sound healer Tamuna Lomidze, each offering one-to-one coaching sessions with guests.

Elegance takes centre stage on 6th January, with a mesmerising performance by Daria Pavlenko, Principal Ballerina of the prestigious Mariinsky Ballet in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Guests will journey beyond the stars as NASA Astronaut and U.S. Navy officer Dominic Antoneli shares captivating stories of space exploration, unveiling the mysteries of the cosmos through first-hand accounts of life among the stars.

Festivities begin on 22nd December as the island is illuminated with festive decorations, and Christmas Eve sunset drinks at Onu Onu Beach. Christmas Day unfolds with a brunch of seasonal delights, Santa’s dramatic arrival on the beach in true Maldivian style. The celebrations continue into the festive evening of lobster dinner, paired with fine champagne ending the day with captivating performances from fire dancers, musicians and magicians under the stars.

New Year’s Eve celebrations open with an island journey from Spa Beach to Central Park, culminating the last mesmerizing Maldivian sunset of 2025 at Onu Onu Beach, before the night unfolds with a lavish gala at RAHA Market featuring dynamic performances by the All Star Band, acrobats and ballet, dazzling laser and fire show and lively after party to welcome 2026.

Welcome New Year’s Day with a vibrant New Year’s brunch on 1st January, infused with Amazonian flair, smooth jazz rhythms and tropical island vibes.

The celebrations continue on Orthodox Christmas Eve on 6th January, where guests will enjoy captivating sunset on the beach, a lavish gourmet buffet at RAHA Market, an elegant seafood dining experience at Azure with an exquisite performance by Daria Pavlenko, and a high-energy beach party set to electrifying DJ beats beneath the stars. Orthodox Christmas (7th January) is marked with a Cristal Champagne golden-hour sunset and elegant à la carte dining on the beach, bringing the festive season to a close in true island style.
