Renowned celebrity Chef Kunwal Safdar will be in residence at Intercontinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort from 15th-17th June 2024, introducing her distinctive take on modern Punjab-Persian fusion cuisine, with a touch of her London background. Safdar is the head chef and owner of the award-winning sustainable Food and Beverage company Moreish by K. Her conscientious ethos in the kitchen ensures all food waste is recycled, with sustainability and community at the core of her work. Guests can look forward to Dubai’s ‘Flavour Queen’ with an exclusive Island Dinner each night of her stay, celebrating the Eid holidays. Each menu offers a 5-course taste sensation, from Safdar's special ‘Lamb Ouzi’ to her infamous samosas. 

During her stay, Safdar will take over The Lighthouse restaurant for three nights as part of the culinary events and activities on offer during  guests’ tropical Eid escape.
