Happy holidays from Amilla!
With a full resort for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the festive line-up at Amilla Maldives now includes an all-star cast for ‘The Greatest Showman’ New Year’s Eve themed celebrations
Famed for their world-class entertainment, Amilla Maldives will have a new band in residence over the festive period through to March 2021. Hailing from Moldova, they’ll be entertaining guests nightly for the next three months at Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences in Baa Atoll. Marina Djundyet and Euginiu Andrianov from ‘DoReDos’ as well as Serghey Stepanov and Seregei Yalovistski from ‘The SunStroke Project’ have previously performed as finalists in the Eurovision Song Contest. The quadruplet will help ensure the five-star resort’s New Year’s Eve celebrations go off with a bang.
In addition to the Moldovan bands, BBC Radio 1 DJ, Scott Mills, will be leading guests at Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences out of 2020 and into 2021 at a show-stopping New Year’s Eve party. Joining Scott Mills will be Hayley Sanderson, one of the lead vocalists on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. They will be supported by home-grown Maldivian talent; Limestone and DJ Shafraz as well as entertainers from Area 51.
The resort will be decorated with millions of festive LED lights, powered by the sun in order to make this year’s celebrations even more sustainable. There will also be immunity-boosting treats. These two themes highlight Amilla’s sustainability efforts and pioneering ‘Wellness Your Way’ initiative.
2020 has been a topsy-turvy rollercoaster and although we are not out of the woods yet the signs for 2021 are looking good. We thank you all partners for sticking by us through tough times and here’s hoping the New Year brings good news all round.
