International Maldives Travel Market (IMTM) 2021 is now set to take place from 26th to 28th October (3 days).

The fourth edition of the event, IMTM 2021, was initially planned to be held from 21st - 23rd September on the virtual platform of the IMTM Air. According to the organizers the event has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances and request from partnering organizations to postpone the event. International Maldives Travel Market (IMTM) 2021, is a B2B travel and trade fair that brings together international buyers (Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Destination Management Companies, and PR Companies) from around the world to liaise with the local accommodation providers (Resorts, Hotels, Guesthouses, Liveaboards, Dive Centers, Local Tour Operators, and Travel Agents) of the Maldives.

The organizer states that they hope IMTM 2021 will get participation from over 100 travel trade partners from 20 countries. They expect the event to get over 400 travel and trade visitors during the virtual event. This event gives a great opportunity for the participants to network and create business connections.

The organizer of the event revealed that their IMTM Air platform has been improved based on the feedback they received from the IMTM 2020 virtual event. IMTM added that they strive to ensure that

their platform enables efficient, low-cost creation of new, richer customer experiences and hope to achieve the same when the participants subscribe for the online travel and trade fair.
