The exclusive Campioni football training camps are open to children aged 4–15 and run across  two weeks. From 28th July to 1st August, John Barnes MBE, Liverpool and England legend, will  lead sessions alongside UEFA coach Adrian Whitbread. From 4th to 8th August, Barnes will be  joined by Stuart Pearce MBE, bringing an unforgettable training experience to Kuramathi for a  second week. It’s a rare chance for young footballers to train with legends of the game while  enjoying a dream family holiday.

With Campioni’s ethos, “Train Like A Pro,” children are coached for two hours daily by elite  football professionals. The sessions combine technical drills and game play with personal  mentorship, encouraging the development of teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship in a fun  and supportive environment. 

Parents can enjoy free time to unwind on the beach, explore the island, go to the gym or visit the  spa, or simply take a seat pitch-side soaking in the excitement and energy of the training  sessions.  

But the fun doesn’t stop there. As part of the Campioni experience, families can enjoy a host of  additional activities, including an invitation to the start of the week family welcome drinks, a  mid-week parents’ game where guests can play alongside the pros, and an end-of-week medal  and certificate ceremony. While the kids are busy sharpening their skills on the pitch, parents  have the freedom to unwind across the resort.  

Campioni for Local Children 

As part of this inspiring new partnership, Kuramathi and Campioni Soccer Academy are thrilled  to host Campioni for Local Children, a one-off community event dedicated to empowering  young athletes from nearby islands. The event kicks off with a special Meet & Train session,  where children will be welcomed by UEFA coach Adrian Whitbread and introduced to football  legend John Barnes MBE. 

Guests will have the chance to snap photos, collect autographs, and take part in an exclusive  Q&A session hosted by Whitbread, giving young players a rare opportunity to hear first-hand  stories, career highlights, and motivational advice from one of football’s greats. 

The morning concludes with a high-energy 45-minute training session, where participants will  join Barnes and Whitbread on the pitch for practical drills and skills coaching, creating  unforgettable memories and igniting their love for the game under the guidance of elite  professionals.
