Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives) has announced that the Maldives will be represented at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024, the leading global event for the inbound and outbound travel industry in the Middle East from 6th to 9th May 2024 at Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai, UAE. 

A circular was disseminated for expression of interest for ATM 2024 in order to estimate the overall number of companies interested to participate in this event before booking the stand space. 

Visit Maldives aims to be able to give opportunities to all interested parties to participate in this fair and facilitate a platform for industry partners to promote their individual products and experiences. 

The Middle Eastern market has historically been a key source market for the Maldives. During the global pandemic, 2021 was recorded as the highest number of arrivals from the Middle East as Maldives was one of the few countries with the borders open. Since the reopening of international borders, the Middle East remains a key focus market. In 2023, Maldives welcomed over 78,966 tourist arrivals from the Middle East to our destination. 

Interested tourism industry companies who would like to take part in this event with Visit Maldives can express their interest via the google form (Expression of Interest for ATM 2024) before 12:00 hours on Tuesday, 23rd January 2024.
