NHGAM Launches IAM Maldives 2025 Edition at Arabian Travel Market

The National Hotels and Guesthouses Association of Maldives (NHGAM) is proud to announce the launch of the I AM Maldives 2025 Edition at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM). The publication was launched by the Minister of Tourism and Environment Thoriq Ibrahim alongside Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation's (MMPRC) Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree, and NHGAM President Abdulla Nasheed.
This year's edition highlights community tourism across the Maldives, embracing Culture, Community, and Connection. The magazine showcases authentic Maldivian experiences, local traditions, and sustainable tourism initiatives available throughout the nation's inhabited islands along with featuring our Hotels and Guesthouses with their services
This publication gives voice to local guesthouses, hotels, and community-based tourism initiatives that offer travelers genuine cultural immersion.
First introduced in 2024, I AM Maldives has quickly become an essential marketing tool for the country's growing guesthouses and hotel sector. The magazine helps increase occupancy rates through targeted segment marketing while providing smaller properties with international exposure they might otherwise struggle to achieve.
Thanks to generous contributions from industry partners and sponsors, the 2025 edition will be distributed across all member islands and featured prominently at international roadshows, tourism councils, and global travel exhibitions throughout the year.
NHGAM extends its gratitude to all contributors who made this publication possible and looks forward to upcoming international roadshows planned for later this year, where I AM Maldives 2025 will continue to showcase the authentic heart of Maldivian hospitality.
