Oaga Art Resort Debuts Moo' Ge: A Home for Creativity and Transformation

Oaga Art Resort has unveiled Moo Ge, a groundbreaking addition to its  artistic landscape. More than just a gallery, Moo Ge is a transformative  space where creativity thrives. Designed to be fluid and adaptable, it  functions as a movement studio, performance venue, exhibition hub, and  creative sanctuary. This dynamic "home" nurtures artists of all disciplines,  fostering a sense of warmth, inclusivity, and collaboration.
As part of the Suvaasthi ecosystem—rooted in the expression of happiness—Moo Ge deepens Oaga’s commitment to celebrating art as a  source of joy and growth. Together, these spaces amplify the fulfillment of  artists and audiences alike, shaping an interconnected artistic community  in the Maldives and beyond.
Moo Ge opened its doors on January 7th with a curated selection from  Watercolor Journals of Nazimbe, an exhibition originally showcased at the  National Art Gallery in January 2024. This remarkable collection, featuring  over 100 paintings by acclaimed Maldivian artist Ahmed Nazim (Nazimbe),  captures his transition from oil to watercolor and his contemplative  maritime storytelling. At Suvaasthi Gallery, selected works from this celebrated exhibition is displayed from January 7th to January 21st,  marking Moo Ge’s debut as a creative sanctuary for exploration and  inspiration.
