TripAdvisor Features the Serene Islands of Maldives
Earlier this year, Visit Maldives commenced a campaign with Tripadvisor, world’s largest travel platform under the concept “Escape to Maldives: Calm Awaits”. The campaign started in January and will run until September of this year. Targeting the US, Europe and APAC region, the campaign will connect Maldives with the largest travel community in the world.
Under the campaign, Tripadvisor published a travel guide to 5-star resorts in Maldives. From breathtaking overwater villas to uniquely-Maldivian underwater rooms, the guide highlighted several of the most beautiful 5-star luxury resorts and hotels in Maldives. Users can “Save” the listings and start planning their serene getaway to Maldives. Travelers are also able to use the “Travel Safe” tool on the website to find, filter for and validate health and safety information.
Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, SAii Lagoon Maldives Curio Collection by Hilton, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort, Kandolhu Maldives, Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, Radisson Blu Resort Maldives, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa and Lily Beach Resort & Spa were among the resorts listed in this article.

Tripadvisor has also published two articles titled “A Secluded Getaway Where Calm Awaits” and “Kick back to scenic sunsets and insta-worthy views at these beachfront resortsㅤ
The article “A Secluded Getaway Where Calm Awaits” introduces the naturally-distanced islands, private jungle reserves, and the secluded resorts as among a few of the reasons why Maldives is the perfect island escape to visit.
The reader will find information on the awe-inspiring overwater hotels and the tranquil spas that makes Maldives so infinitely serene. A wide selection of indulgent resorts are promoted in this article. In addition, the article also promotes sandbank picnics along the coolest stretch of beach, crafted cocktails and beach-front villa pools.
With intimate encounters with wildlife and nature, ways to support the local community and a highlight on cuisines in Maldives, the article is a perfect introduction to the awe-inspiring islands of Maldives.
