TTM Maldives 2023 has Officially Begun

The 7th edition of the highly anticipated TTM Maldives 2023 has officially commenced, bringing together distinguished guests, partners, and industry leaders for a two-day event. 
As the country's largest travel trade show, TTM Maldives 2023 provides a platform for networking, learning, and collaboration among key stakeholders in the travel and hospitality sector. Taking place from August 22nd to August 23rd, the event gathers industry players at the esteemed Meerumaa Conference Facility. The event includes TTM Connect Meetings over two days and culminates with the TTM Awards & Gala Night on the final day at the exquisite CROSSROADS Maldives. 
The pre-scheduled TTM Connect Meetings will go on from 9 am to 5 pm. The event makes use of TTM Connect software with exciting features including virtual profiles and video call features to execute hybrid meetings simultaneously during the event. Every year, TTM Maldives sees over 3000 pre-scheduled meetings among 500 travel trade professionals with over $1 billion worth of contracts discussed. As such, this year's event features more than 100 exhibiting resorts, accommodating over 200 agents, operators and local DMCs from diverse markets, leading to an excess of 3000 pre-scheduled meetings.
The event's inauguration was marked by an opening speech delivered by Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed, CEO & Managing Director of Visit Maldives. 
The event's opening ceremony featured enlightening presentations from renowned industry giants such as Agoda, Trip.com, and Booking.com. These experts not only illuminated the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the global travel landscape but also offered attendees profound perspectives on the industry's ever-evolving dynamics. Rajesh Mehta, the Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Maldives, further delivered his speech, while Jurgen Ortelee, the Managing Director of IdeaS, presented on the strategic utilization of AI for revenue optimization.
