Visit Maldives has partnered with the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026 as the Official Destination Partner, reaffirming its commitment to advancing regional tourism collaboration and promoting excellence across South Asia's travel and hospitality industry.

The partnership was formalised during the official SATA 2026 Partnership Signing Ceremony held at Barceló Nasandhura Malé, where Visit Maldives joined fellow industry partners in marking the beginning of preparations for the milestone 10th edition of the prestigious awards.

Representing Visit Maldives, CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree signed the partnership agreement, reinforcing the organisation's continued support for initiatives that strengthen regional tourism ties and elevate the Maldives' profile as a leading global destination.

As the Official Destination Partner, Visit Maldives will play a key role in supporting SATA 2026, which brings together the region's leading hotels, resorts, destinations, airlines, tour operators, and tourism professionals to recognise outstanding achievements across the travel and hospitality sector.
