Maldives Marketing & PR Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) has announced the opening of participation for EMITT 2024, the prestigious travel and tourism exhibition held for the Eastern Mediterranean region from 6-9 February at the Tuyap Fair and Congress Centre in Istanbul, Türkiye. The participation opportunities are limited in consideration to the space available in the event. 

Visit Maldives aims to spotlight the destination's distinctive offerings and cultivate valuable connections within the global travel community during the four-day event. Aligned with our strategies revolving around bolstering destination visibility and collaborating with key travel trade partners, Visit Maldives aims to engage potential agents and buyers in the important Türkiye market to elevate the impact of the Maldives' tourism sector.

The Turkish market holds immense potential for the Maldives. In the previous year, it ranked 25th as a source market with a notable 33.4% increase with 14,007 arrivals. There has been increased connectivity to the Central & Eastern European market as well. Participation in this fair presents an excellent opportunity to further boost arrivals from this region and achieve significant growth.
