Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) participated in the Manta Forum 2025, a leading tourism exhibition organized by Resort Holidays, held on 14 September 2025, at the Moscow Marriott Imperial Plaza.

The event brought together international hotels, destinations, tour operators, and travel agents to discuss opportunities and strengthen partnerships in the global tourism sector.

VMC’s CEO & Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree represented the Maldives at the forum, engaging with industry stakeholders and highlighting the Maldives’ position as a premier luxury and sustainable tourism destination. His participation reinforced the Maldives’ commitment to the Russian and CIS markets, which remain vital source markets for the destination.

The forum featured more than 110 participants and exhibitors from Russia and around the world, offering a platform for networking and knowledge exchange. 

Through its presence at Manta Forum 2025, Visit Maldives Corporation underscored its strategy to maintain destination visibility, foster strong B2B relationships, and showcase the Maldives’ diverse offerings to Russian and CIS travel trade partners.
