Emirates, which runs the world’s biggest airline by international traffic, resumed services to Maldives on 16th July 2020 after a three-month hiatus due to the border closure to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Due to an increase in passenger demand, Emirates has now increased its flight frequency from three to four daily flights to the Maldives. It will operate these daily flights until 31st January 2021 - offering customers greater connectivity this holiday season.
Emirates customers can also plan their travels and fly with even greater assurance and peace of mind, with the airline’s latest industry-first initiative to provide expanded, multi-risk travel cover on top of its current COVID-19 cover.
