Anne Wild & Associates, the PR representative for the Australian Market for Maldives

Anne Wild & Associates (AWA) is the appointed PR representative for the Australian market. They were appointed by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) in order to promote Maldives as the most preferred island destination in the world and to establish a bigger outreach to the media with the latest destination news and information to the travel trade with the most updated travel guidelines.
Celebrating its 22nd anniversary in 2020, Anne Wild & Associates is an independent, full-service public relations and communications agency offering solutions based on sound research and analysis, devised to achieve real and measurable results to a range of cross-industry clients.  AWA values originality and strategic thinking, and its creative team combines an eclectic but essential mix of youthful vision, professional wisdom, journalistic know-how and media savvy – all with proven expertise across a range of mediums and industry sectors. AWA has two business streams – Travel & Lifestyle and Business & Innovation.
AWA is proud to be a founding member of the Travel Lifestyle Network (TLN), a global alliance of leading independent, like-minded marketing communications and public relations agencies providing specialist services to travel and lifestyle clients around the world.
In an effort to inspire travelers from Australia to keep dreaming about the destination, aside from daily media and trade relations, AWA coordinated the Maldives’ first ever roadshow in Australia in September 2019. The events were a huge success in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, showcasing the destination to over 150 trade attendees and top-tier media targets from across the country.
AWA also coordinated the Maldives’ first Australian familiarisation trip, which was attended by A-list media from Escape, Traveller, The West Australian, WHO Magazine and Marie Claire. The itinerary focused on the unique experiences the Maldives has to offer, including local island tours, luxury liveaboards, exclusive overwater bungalows, sustainable initiatives and its incredible array of marine life. High-quality coverage still continues to be published as Australians dream about their next international escape, with notable features including a four-page story in Traveller (with a front page cover) and a four-page article in WHO Magazine.
